Information

Announced on June 18th, 2025 alongside the Yokohama gig, Muse played two headlining shows in Japan, marking their first gigs in Japan since 2017. This is also the band's first visit in Osaka in 12 years, the last time being in 2013.

The gig was part of a special event called Sonic Osaka Expo 2025, organized by the city of Osaka in conjunction with Expo 2025. A dedicated website, sonic-expo2025.com, was created for the occasion. The event was originally announced to take place at Kyocera Dome; however, on September 5th, 2025, a change of venue was announced. The show was moved from Kyocera Dome to the smaller Osaka Intex Hall 6, likely due to low ticket sales.[10]

The Show

The show was similar to the gig before, albeit with Map of the Problematique being played instead of Resistance.

Likely due to the smaller size of the arena, the LED cubes were not present on stage, with the production in general being more simple compared to previous gigs.

Media

The gig's official aftermovie can be seen here. A second "behind the scene" video was issued.
