Information
The Status "Stealth" (not to be confused with Stealth-finished bassess) is Status model, which represents "a milestone in Status' expertise of working with carbon fibre composites". The Stealth is a lamintaed woven graphite through-neck bass, which has a phenolic fingerboard. The bass provides a clarity and consistency of the tone across the fretboard. The "Stealth" model is also recognisable for its distinctive "fatter" shape, compared to the S2.
Chris has been using the headless 5-string model of the Status Stealth since the first show after the post-covid break in 2022. The bass is sporting a natural carbon graphite satin finish and is tuned to drop B (BEADG). This bass sits in his European (A) rig with a stealth finish Status S2-Classic 5-string replacing it in the North American (B) rig.
