Maryland Heights Hollywood Casino Amphitheater
Hollywood Casino Amphitheater is an outdoor amphitheater venue, located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, near St. Louis. Opened in 1991, the venue has a capacity for 20,000 people. It was originally known as "Riverport Amphitheater" and its former names include the "UMB Bank Pavilion" and the "Verizon Wireless Amphitheater". Despite naming changes, many people in the St. Louis area call it by its original name, "Riverport". The venue is owned and operated by Live Nation.
The venue opened with a performance by Steve Winwood and was, shortly after its opening, the site of the Riverport Riot during a Guns'N'Roses concert, following Axl Rose's confrontation with a fan. The riot resulted in injuries of 65 people, including 25 police officers, resulting in several hundreds of thousands of dollars of property damage. Other artists who have performed at the amphitheater include REO Speedwagon and Styx, whose co-headlining performance was recorded in their release "Arch Allies Live at Riverport". The venue also saw Sting perform together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2010, the same year as Kings of Leon had to cut their set short due to being fiercly shat on by pigeons while on stage.[1] The amphitheater was also the site of music festivals such as Vans Warped Tour, Lollapalooza, Ozzfest, Family Values Tour, Anger Management Tour and more.
Muse are set to play the venue on July 5th, 2026, as part of The Wow! Signal North American Tour, supported by Bloc Party and The Temper Trap.
