User talk:7/Main Page Project
I would like some feedback on this experiment. Personally, I don't care much for the first trial, I was just trying to fix that collision on the main page. I would like some feedback on the second trial, though.
Also, if anyone has any idea on how to fill those (Vacant) spots, please make a suggestion. Before, they were "Featured Pictures" and "Did You Know...", but we don't do featured pics on Musewiki, so that was out the window, and the "Did You Know..." seemed really irrelevant compared to the stuff that was surrounding it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

- I think it's great, it looks very good now. Good job. Just a few suggestions: don't you think the "this week in Muse history" is a little excessive? I mean, we'd had to change it every week, and listing gigs is a little irrelevant... maybe some gigs like Earls Court, Wembley Stadium etc, but not all of them. I think that something like featured article would be better and not that laborious. Also, the "upcoming gigs" should link to Musewiki's article, instead to the official site. And, last thing, the bits about the members ("Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard, Lyrics") could be in lower-case :P. But good job overall, I think it's a good main page.

Re-coloring note
I've begun re-coloring (colouring?) the boxes. If you don't like what I've done so far (which isn't much :P), you know how to revert. 7 06:44, 6 January 2008 (GMT)
Also, (IMPORTANT!) since the main page project is going under a small change in coloring, the main page itself is bound to be changed as soon as we find better color, so if you want to make any suggestions in layout or such MAKE THEM NOW as we are already going to change it anyways! 7 06:56, 6 January 2008 (GMT)
For those who want to help with the re-coloring, http://www.johncfish.com/bggallery/otherchart/index.htm seems to be a good color mixer. The closest I can get to "MuseWiki blue" is #005FD6, i think.

Maybe a good idea for a section (if we wanted to be a bit more original and less wikipedia-like) would be quotes instead of "Did You Know"s...
