RJM Music Technology
RJM Music Technology (also known as "RJM Music") is a company, based in California, United States, which mainly specializes in producing MIDI equipment for music artists. Their most famous products include the Mastermind line of MIDI controllers (the GT and the LT), aswel as the Effect and Amp Gizmo audio switchers.
Founded in 2003 by musician and engineer Ron Menelli, RJM's first product was the Amp Gizmo, released in 2005. The Amp Gizmo is an amp switching unit, meaning multiple amps can be plugged into it, and switching can be done through just this device through MIDI. RJM Music has also collaborated with other companies in the guitar world, including Friedman Amps, Diamond Amplification, Egnater Amplification and Fuchs Audio Technology. Recently, RJM Music Technology also delved into the world of stompboxes, producing a programmable analog overdrive pedal, called "Overture".
Famous artists who have and are using RJM Music's products include Billie Joe Armstrong and Jason White of Green Day, Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, Kirk Hammett of Metallica, Rusty Anderson of Paul McCartney's touring band, Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance and John Petrucci of Dream Theater.
RJM Music's products have been used by both Matt and Chris ever since the 2015 Drones World Tour, likely due to the products' flexibility and amount of options, aswel as ease of programming, making it easier for them, and their techs, to program and dial-in exactly the sounds that they need in their complicated rigs.
