Information
Announced by the festival on October 15th, 2025, the band were set to headline Bandland Festival in Bengaluru, India, marking Muse's first show in the country. Muse would have headlined the festival alongside Train, Karnivool, Scribe and others.
However, on 14 January 2026, Muse announced that they would no longer be performing at the festival. The band released the following statement;
"Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to proceed with the upcoming scheduled shows. This has been a very difficult decision and one we did not take lightly. We’re truly sorry to everyone who purchased tickets and appreciate your understanding. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase. We hope to be back with you again very soon. Muse”
As a result, all of Muse’s planned February 2026 performances in South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and India were cancelled. Bandland later announced the following day that the festival as a whole would be cancelled due to the band pulling out.[4]
