American New Wave band formed in 1975 by Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, achieving widespread success before breaking up in 1982. The band was instrumental in pioneering the American New Wave scene.

The drum beat and guitar hook of Uprising bear a similarity to Blondie's "Call Me."[1]
