Blondie
American New Wave band formed in 1975 by vocalist Debbie Harry and lead guitarist Chris Stein. During the band's classic years they were joined by drummer Clem Burke, keyboardist Jimmy Destri, guitarist Frank Infante and bassist Nigel Harrison. The band achieved widespread success before breaking up in 1982, being known for hits such as One Way or Another and Heart of Glass, and reunited in 1997 without Infante and Harrison. The band was instrumental in pioneering the American New Wave scene.
The drum beat and guitar hook of Uprising bear a similarity to Blondie's "Call Me."[1].
When Blondie played at Rockness and Isle of Wright, They did a cover of Uprising, Changing the lyrics, for those of "call me", doing a reference of the similarietes between the 2 songs[2].
