Part of The Resistance Stadium Tour
Information
Muse performed within Paris's Stade de France on June 12th, 2010, as part of The Resistance Stadium Tour.
First rumoured in June of 2009,[6] French music critic Zegut mentioned late in August the possibility of a Spring 2010 concert in Stade de France.[1][2] The concert had in fact been listed on the stadium's website since the 26th of June.[5] The gig was confirmed on the 22nd of November, 2009.[3][3] General ticket sale started on the 27th of November.[3] at 10:00[7]
Muse were supported by DeVotchKa, White Lies and Kasabian.
The show
Soldier's Poem was played for the first time since 2008. Out of the most voted songs on the official setlist polls (Citizen Erased, I Belong to You (+Mon Cœur S'ouvre à Ta Voix), Showbiz, Bliss and Muscle Museum), I Belong to You was chosen by the band to be played at this gig.
A surprise TIFO was organized by fans. Several visuals related to Muse, made with thousands of sheets of paper, raised by fans, were formed at the beginning of Supermassive Black Hole.[8] After the show, a message was sent by Tom Kirk to Muse Messenger, a French official fanclub. saying; "Hi there. Yeah it was great. Brilliant show, and the signs looked great.. You saw that I put them up on the screen right? It looked brilliant. Great job. I hope to use it and put it on a DVD one day..."
Media
A series of individual song pro-shots from different dates of the tour was released on Muse's YouTube channel in 2012. This included a performance of Stockholm Syndrome at Stade de France, on the 12th. It can be seen here or via the link in the setlist below.
