Muse played Top of the Pops On 15th June 2001......It a hole in time on the Gig List!!

Yeah, they did play TOTP on 15/6/01, there is even video, and i know that this was the unveiling of his Red Hair!

Concerts never officially organised

Anyone think styling rows of concerts that we're sure were just rumours - and never actually organised - is a good idea? If so, what sort of styling? --Tene 20:02, 30 January 2008 (GMT)

Maybe with a new template? like Template:Gigs/Rumours? Z 00:30, 31 January 2008 (GMT)
Well, that's one method that works... Not sure what else to do apart from change the background colour though. --Tene 00:38, 31 January 2008 (GMT)
Yeah. I'm not sure either.
Or we could just remove the gigs that's not official to the rumours template, instead of putting the gigs in the official gigs templates. Z 00:47, 31 January 2008 (GMT)
Probably a better idea in the long run. (I just typed wrong instead of long ... bad omen? Heheh). --Tene 01:02, 31 January 2008 (GMT)
haha.
oh Tene, if you're interested I found something about Muse biography www.freewebs.com/matthew_bellamy/biography.htm, it's from the board

Date format

Anybody object to switching to yyyy-mm-dd format? --Tene 22:07, 18 February 2008 (GMT)

Fine by me Gilly 22:13, 18 February 2008 (GMT)

Has audio/video

What do you guys think of having columns for "has audio" and "has video" next to "Confirmed"? (Perhaps even using tooltip to display media format, eg. FLAC) Sure, it'll be a lot of work, but I think it'll be worth it to check and link if bootleg exists for a given gig. One could potentially find it in Muselive, but a lot of the time, they don't have the FLAC versions, and even then, it's hard to find with limited search functions in Muselive. (edit: anyone?) --Muserwiki 19:44, 28 March 2008 (GMT)

I'll have a ponder about it tomorrow. Also concerning this page, I think the page is a bit long now, needs splitting into subsections (one for every two, three years?). --Tene 20:08, 2 April 2008 (BST)
Archived into previous years. I might have to go through the 2007 and see if there are still open ones though. --Muserwiki 05:47, 3 April 2008 (BST)
I was thinking more of having two 16px icons for audio and video. I don't see why we should have or need an actual download link on the gig listings page itself. If someone either doesn't know anything about the gig or doesn't think it worth their time to find out, why is that person going to download a recording? --Tene 09:50, 3 April 2008 (BST)
How about that? --Tene 02:33, 28 July 2008 (BST)

Random gigs

Mainly directed at Tene: expect a few random unsourced early gigs to be added today ۞ 11:12, 12 June 2009 (BST)

Mm, managed to get hold of the old database or lists of some sort? --Tene 16:21, 12 June 2009 (BST)
Never mind... I presume we can't host a copy? --Tene 16:40, 12 June 2009 (BST)
Something like that...it isn't citable but they're all reliable IYKWIM. There aren't gigs many anyway and they'll all be added in due course. The info I've added is pretty much all there is though, only good for gig titles and locations really. ۞ 17:10, 12 June 2009 (BST)

Template issue

Something's up with it, it doesn't like categories being included - eg. http://www.musewiki.org/Tucson_Electric_Park_2006_(gig) ۞ 11:58, 15 June 2009 (BST)

good spot. no idea what is wrong though, we need Tene. --Wilfio 12:08, 15 June 2009 (BST)
Mm, just need to move refs from Location to LocationRef. I've done 2009, I'll move onto 2008 now. ;) --Tene 14:33, 15 June 2009 (BST)

Redirects

Gig and discography redirects should not be deleted from now on if a gig page is renamed/moved. Niall 13:11, 12 July 2009 (BST)

I don't entirely agree with this, as it depends on the circumstances. If a page author screws up and realises straightaway that he/she needs to create a new page, I would say don't do a redirect, just create the "correct" page and assign the "wrong" page to the category: Deletion requests. However, DON'T do this for gigs that have been in the Wiki for more than a few days, as it is likely that there are external incoming links, and we need to redirect to avoid breaking these links. In these cases, eg when doing maintenance on old gigs, ALWAYS use a redirect. --Adewalker (talk) 21:29, 8 January 2015 (GMT)

Milan San Siro, June 2010

Accoriding to Italian newspaper La Reppublica Muse will play San Siro in June 2010. Another unconfirmed arena show.

Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit - March 13, 2010

Local radio station here in Detroit confirmed this show and tickets will start being sold on November 12 for this show, so I believe it is now confirmed.

By countries

I think it should be a list of concerts by country .... an example this page radiohead: http://www.citizeninsane.eu/live.html --Mayra

Use the headers' sorting arrows to sort by different headers (including country). If you would like year-unbounded list, a category for gigs in given countries could be added to the gigbox template. --Tene 23:32, 24 February 2010 (GMT)

Stubbs Cafe SXSW Event, 19th March 2010

The Myspace exclusive gig hasn't been added to the timeline yet. (nuttyboy 20:27, 22 March 2010 (GMT))

Monte do Gozo 27th August 2010

Hello everybody,
Seems like Muse will be returning to Santiago de Compostela on the 27th of August: http://www.lavozdegalicia.es/ocioycultura/2010/07/02/0003_8587010.htm --Tana 15:43, 3 July 2010 (BST)

Jisan Valley Rock Festival - 1st August 2010, Sziget Festival - 15th August 2010

Neither of these gigs appear in the timeline, they should get added, especially considering the first of which is in three days. --Spin26

None of the yearly timeline pages are locked and thus adding gigs is not limited to any particular group of users. --Tene 19:40, 31 July 2010 (BST)
They're not that easy to find, though. @Spin26: Use Template:Gigs/2010 to add 2010 gigs. Time Q 15:41, 2 August 2010 (BST)

Russia and Ukraine in May 2011

Accoriding to Russia newspaper Muse will play in Kiev, Moscow(11 May) and S.-Petersburg in May 2011. Unconfirmed information. --Katty777 22:31, 23 January 2011 (GMT)

Thanks for adding this info. Could you upload a scan and/or translate the announcement please? Also, you can sign by adding --~~~~. --Tene 19:40, 5 February 2011 (GMT)

KROQ Pre-Grammy Show

Hey guys, shouldn't we make a page for Muse's pre-grammy show on KROQ? --Muselover (talk) 03:09, 11 February 2013 (GMT)

Yes, we should (see comment above). Go ahead! Time Q (talk) 16:48, 12 February 2013 (GMT)

WORLD WAR Z

Guys, new gig to add - http://www.worldwarz.co.uk/MUSE/ --Muselover (talk) 06:43, 24 May 2013 (BST)

Also the performance yesterday evening in Cannes. (talk) 08:25, 24 May 2013 (BST)

Do you know where exactly the performance in Cannes took place? Time Q (talk) 10:14, 25 May 2013 (BST)
Time Q, some seaside area (http://www.canalplus.fr/c-divertissement/c-musique/pid5065-live-du-grand-journal.html?vid=873328) --Muselover (talk) 18:03, 25 May 2013 (BST)
Hm, I'll add "Le Grand Journal" as the "venue", but have no idea if that's the actual venue. Time Q (talk) 22:31, 25 May 2013 (BST)

2014 Gigs

Hey can we get an Admin to institute the 2014 template so the upcoming shows can be added? - CitizenDisgraced (talk)

Also can we have the gigs page linking to the individual tour pages?

2015 Gigs

I think it's time to start adding the 2015 gigs onto the Gigs section! - Museareawesome (talk)

Quite a few pages have been created already, but they're not yet linked to from the main Gigs page yet. See Special:RecentChanges for what's been done so far.
--Adewalker (talk) 22:01, 30 November 2014 (GMT)
Pages for all the gigs announced so far were allready created. They just need to be linked to the main gigs page.

And if anybody has more detailed info about gigs (i.e. ticket prices), feel free to add it into the gigboxes on the gig pages.

--KeTeVemCovers (talk) 16:04, 1 December 2014 (GMT)

Yeah, I made the 2015 gig box, but we now need a moderator to add it to the official gig page.

--Muse311 (talk) 12:56, 3 December (GMT)

Added 3 new gig pages: Orange Warsaw Festival 2015, Park Live Festival 2015 and Tuborg Greenfest Russia 2015.

--KeTeVemCovers (talk) 16:04, 1 December 2014 (GMT)

Yep, we need a mod/admin to sort out the main Gig page.

--Adewalker (talk) 21:44, 18 December 2014 (GMT)

Any reason why I shouldn't add a scan of my ticket for one of the 2015 gigs? Just wondering whether it's considered bad form or something to do this for gigs which haven't taken place yet. Thoughts, anyone?

--Adewalker (talk) 21:44, 18 December 2014 (GMT)
As the Boss (aka Mr Crazybobbles, thank you, Sir!) has kindly conferred admin rights on me, I've gone ahead and updated the Gigs page to include 2015. Thanks, Muse311, for the 2015 Gigs box. For the moment, I've left 2012, 2013 and 2014 on the main Gigs page although, in due course, to be consistent with pre-2012 gigs, these should be moved to their own 2012-2014 Gigs archive page. I'll get around to this in due course (not urgent). --Adewalker (talk) 21:16, 5 January 2015 (GMT)

Buenos Aires Gig

Hello! Can someone fix the link of the Buenos Aires Gig? Cos I can't edit this page, it's only a misspelling of "Buenos Aires", I created the page Buenos Aires Complejo Al Rio but in the Box it appears as "Buenos AAAres"; See U Later! Bis Später! Hasta luego amigos! :) Nepomuse (talk) 23:22, 14 May 2015 (UTC−06:00)

New Gigs, New Pages

Hello! Hey! can someone update the gig list, cause ya' know that I don't have the permission. We need these:

Hey! It looks that nobody cared... Please, can someone add this gigs? Nepomuse (talk) 11:09, 6 June 2015 (UTC−06:00)

Adding 2017 gigs to the main gig page

Hello! We should probably put the Template:Gigs/2017 on the main page. All the pages for the 20 gigs announced so far has been completed too! I would do it myself but only admins can do it. Cheers!

luigiman09/QuietProtag (talk) 18:37, 11 February 2015 (UTC−05:00)

Seconded. Can't do it myself because I don't have the ability to do so, that and I think all the staff are inactive. GameGear360 (talk) 22:10, 12 February 2017 (GMT)

Lisbon MEO Arena 2016

MEO Arena (2nd) and MEO Arena (3rd) are leading to the same page: Lisbon MEO Arena 2016 - 2nd (gig). Please fix it. --SoldierOfCydonia (talk) 22:08, 8 September 2017 (UTC+01:00)

Fan recordings

I find it redundant to write for every gig about the status of fan recordings. If they exist, just link them in the setlist section. Only recordings that should be notable and mentioned are pro recordings, full audio bootlegs, multicams. Please consider getting rid of this boilerplate text. --Ncla (talk) 11:34, 26 February 2023 (GMT)
