You can say me EVERYTHING in this Page :)
Ha thanks for doing the Olympic Flame page, i was priming myself for that job after i uploaded them running on to youtube..
Hey thanks a bunch on helping out on the wiki, we need folks like you :) --crazybobbles (talk) 17:58, 1 September 2012 (BST)
- Hey, just wondering what your opinion is on having a sort of "Gallery" section of the site for live videos. I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I think it could be really useful. In a summary, my idea is that like the tablature page, Musers will be able to select from a list of songs and then be brought to a page filled with live performances of the song, organized by year. I think it would be big work for some of the more commonly-played songs (PiB, TIRO, New Born) but could be quite valuable to the site. Plus it could help preserve some rare live videos the same way MicroCuts.net used to. Thanks and have a great day. GameGear360 (talk) 21:36, 19 December 2014 (GMT)
Drones
I thought about redirecting the old Seventh Album page to the new Drones (album) page (new page has more new content than the old page), till the old page gets deleted so we won't have duplicates. What do you think? KeTeVemCovers (talk) 21:36, 19 December 2014 (GMT+1)
- That fixes the problem until someone deletes the old one...! Good Job Kid! Nepomuse (talk) 21:00, 7 February 2015 (UTC−06:00)
Working Titles
Suggestion: It would probably be better if the working titles reference was at the "Working Titles" title, instead of at the last song, so it wouldn't seem like the reference is for the last song only. EDIT: The png file for the artwork doesn't seem to work. Good choice for the png though. KeTeVemCovers (talk) 18:55, 11 March 2015 (GMT+1)
- Good point, about the reference in the song... Well yeah.. Sometimes I think the same, that it looks like... it's doing a reference to one song but not to all; but at the begining also, it looks like a reference to nothing... I will see what I can do... Or take it back just like it was.Nepomuse (talk) 12:12, 11 March 2015 (UTC−06:00)
Yeah, and it doesn't work if its next to the title....Maybe leave it like that then. I can replace it with a png, or you might probably have to check the file name and check if its really .png at the end of the original file you have on your computer. If not, I can upload another version of a good quality png I found online. KeTeVemCovers (talk) 18:55, 11 March 2015 (GMT+1)
Live section
Hey, I've thought up an idea for expanding the live section of song articles which I've added to the Spiral Static page and I really could use your feedback. Basically it offers two Nav boxes which explain how many times the song was performed (with a link to a page detailing this list on the number shown) as well as when it was last performed for songs that have been retired (no performance in two most recent tours). I'd be very interested to know your thoughts on this, how it could be improved, or whether it should be used or not. Thank you very much! GameGear360 (talk) 17:42, 20 May 2015 (BST)
- I like your idea, yasss! I can help you, since there are songs that we don't know when were played, but at least we know the year... So yeah Nepomuse (talk) 15:38, 20 May 2015 (UTC−06:00)
- Hey, thanks! I'm wondering if that page you made should link to pages like "[ [ Fury (live) ] ]" instead of "[ [ Fury (song) ] ]" so they link to the live pages, of course with songs like Map of Your Head it could not have any link at all. Quick question; on this page, is there any way to have the 1999 performances on one column and the 2000 performances in another column beside it? I'm thinking that might work better. Thanks again! GameGear360 (talk) 17:08, 21 May 2015 (BST)
- Just something I feel I should let you know, I've been doing the gig listing in the reverse chronological order, similar to gig templates, with the most recent gig coming first and the earliest going last. GameGear360 (talk) 17:52, 21 May 2015 (BST)
- I think we probably shouldn't not make pages for songs that haven't been performed as in a way I'm not sure it's needed, but I'd like to hear your take on it. GameGear360 (talk) 21:47, 21 May 2015 (BST)
Reapers
I saw you add that the riff of Reapers used to be played after PiB... I don't hear anything in common between these two riffs. Yeah there is tapping but it's the only thing that is similar...
- Hello Friend! Just like the Early Psycho and Early United States of Eurasia, they are pretty similiar... Just like Psycho, they decided to extend that riff at the beginning and when Muse played the outro to Plug In Baby I decided to learn that riff... When reapers came out, I noticed that the outro and the riff in Reapers are almost the same; As The Resistance Tour continued, they began to extend the outro more and more till taking it's final form.
As seen here: [1] between (3:38-3:50). that was the first time when the Riff appeared. Here, the riff it's now almost finished: [2] between (4:32-5:55) Nepomuse (talk) 13:35, 23 May 2015 (UTC−06:00)
- It still isn't the same riff. The beginning sounds alike (even though it's not even the same key...) but after, the riff goes another way in Reapers. He was inspired by what he played after PiB, but didn't do the same.
Hello ! Well, in my opinion it's just tapping, one time in a riff, one time in an intro for a song, in 2 different keys and not followed by the same riff. So, maybe Matt had the idea of this song at this moment, maybe he just wanted to make some tapping, as he did several years ago before Stockholm Syndrome (2007).Early Psycho and Early USoE are very similar to the final songs, here it's just the same technique. It's like when Matt played adagio sostuneto as an intro for sunburn, did he had the idea of Neutron Star Collision ? I don't think : he just played a piece of piano that he likes. (sorry for my bad english, I'm french)
- As far as I Know, Muse sometimes use to change the key like in Map Of The Problematique... then, What we should do now?Nepomuse (talk) 12:14, 24 May 2015 (UTC−06:00)
Live section
Hey, I could use some feedback regarding the Live section I've been working on. I asked around a while back and the users here all thought the concept of a live section was worth having, so about a year ago I started working on it, and it's now 55% complete with 75 songs finished. It's taken a lot of time and dedication but the results have been promising so far. I deliberately haven't shared the links on any site because I don't necessarily want people to see the incomplete project before it is ready for release, but I would enjoy hearing your feedback. It can be found here for now if you're interested in checking out the work that's been completed already. If you have any suggestions, comments, criticism, I'd love to hear it. Thanks, GameGear360 (talk) 16:34, 7 July 2017 (BST)
- Sorry if I didn't have the time to reply! c: I have been busy working! I'm a teacher! :C but, like fuck whatever! I feel privileged to check/review your job buddy, gonna send feedback :) Nepomuse (talk) 22:57, 19 August 2017 (UTC−06:00)
