According to Matt, this is one of the two songs that talk about love; in 'Aftermath' the protagonist finds love again, the rediscovery of love again.[1], the song it's the opposite to Dead Inside.

The song it's a guitar ballad in the style of "Jimi Hendrix" which also features violins and synths.[2]
