Announced on the 19th of November, Muse opened the 2013 stadium tour by performing within Ricoh Arena.[1] Pre-sale started at 09:30 on the 21st,
[3] and general sale on the 23rd.[1][2]
Blackout was played for the first time in 6 years. Unintended was played for the first time in 3 years. This gig also marked The 2nd Law tour debut of Guiding Light. Matthew Bellamy did not use a guitar to perform Starlight (see here) or Unintended. Instead, Christopher Wolstenholme played his Sunburst Fender Strat Guitar.
This concert had the longest set performed by Muse to date, at 25 songs and 2 jams. The previous record was 23, set in Tokyo in 2007.
