The show

Despite it being a non-festival gig, for reasons unknown, Muse played a festival set, to the dismay of many fans. The stage production was also considerably reduced, with the exclusion of the Baph inflatable for the latter songs, a lack of screens and lighting on the Will/Mask prop and a shorter runway at the front of the stage.

Muse took to the stage just after 9:20pm, it’s entirely unclear why they had a later and shorter set compared to the rest of the WotP tour. It rained for almost the entire show, resulting in a soaking wet band and drenched crowd.

Many fans felt let down by not only the shortened Setlist but also the very safe and generic Setlist - usually Muse treat Glasgow fans to an old or fan-favourite song, breaking years of tradition, especially disappointing that it’s the first time Muse played Glasgow in 7 years, since the Drones tour.
