| A successor to the late (and now defunct) [[Studio Bellini]], '''Red Room''' is a small studio, set up by Matt Bellamy and his producer [[Aleks Von Korff]]. It's located in an undisclosed location in the Santa Monica area of Los Angeles, California. The name of the studio first appeared in [[Will of the People (album)|Will of the People]]'s liner notes, however, the studio was (likely) built in 2017, and was used for recording parts of [[Simulation Theory (album)|Simulation Theory]]. The name itself comes from the cult TV show, Twin Peaks, as the foyer room was, with its black and white flooring and red curtains, inspired by a room of the same name appearing in the show.

| In terms of the rooms, it follows a similar room layout to what Studio Bellini had. The foyer area serves as a writing room, with a basic studio set up in it. The room also has a vocal booth, and houses Matt's synths (including his first synth, the [[Keyboards|the Roland Juno-60]]]]. Next to it is control room, connected to the main live room. The latter one houses an upright and a grand piano, most amplifiers and cabinets, a set of drums, aswell as two sofas and a couch, and a minibar. The studio has a hybrid set up; It uses both analog and digital equipment to recording, as opposed to (mostly) relying on analog equipment.
