Dinosaur Pile-Up are an English alternative, post-grunge and hard rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, formed in late 2007. The line-up currently consists of Matt Bigland (guitar, lead vocals), Mike Sheils (drums) and Jim Cratchley (bass). Their past members include Steve Wilson (drums; 2008-2010), Tom Dornford-May (bass; 2008-2010), Tommy Davidson (2008), Harry Johns (bass; 2010-2011) and James Sacha (bass; 2013) The band's musical style has been compared to Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Weezer and The Smashing Pumpkins, which are also their main influences, alongside bands like Deftones, Pavement, Slayer, The Beatles and The Beach Boys.
