Dinosaur Pile-Up
Dinosaur Pile-Up are an English alternative, post-grunge and hard rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, formed in late 2007. The line-up currently consists of Matt Bigland (guitar, lead vocals), Mike Sheils (drums) and Jim Cratchley (bass). Their past members include Steve Wilson (drums; 2008-2010), Tom Dornford-May (bass; 2008-2010), Tommy Davidson (2008), Harry Johns (bass; 2010-2011) and James Sacha (bass; 2013) The band's musical style has been compared to Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Weezer and The Smashing Pumpkins, which are also their main influences, alongside bands like Deftones, Pavement, Slayer, The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Their most known songs include 11:11, Mona Lisa and Back Foot. In 2016, the band opened for Weezer in Manchester and Brixton, UK.
So far, they've released 4 studio albums and 5 EPs. Their latest album, Celebrity Mansions, was released on June 6.
The band supported Muse on Simulation Theory Tour, at the Budapest (May 28th) and Graz (May 29th) gigs in 2019.
