Monty Python (sometimes known as The Pythons) were a British surreal comedy group that created Monty Python's Flying Circus, a British television comedy sketch show that first aired on the BBC.
Matt loves with passion Monty Python, because matt has taken 'Monty Python' as a reference for many things and overuses the name in various interviews, for example:
- "Essentially, we approach music the same way Monty Python did comedy."[1]
- 'We're not afraid of going into Monty Python rock'[2]
- "It’s like Monty Python meets... Monty Python meets Tom and Jerry or something"[3]
As well matt tweeted in July, 2011 a video from Monty Python's Life of Brian "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life".[4]
