They have been used extensively since 2015, alongside the afforementioned M1D1 Blue, the Manson M1D1 Gloss Black 2.0 and the Manson MB-1 Red Glitter.

Background

This guitar is one of the Matt Black Stealth guitars that Matt received in 2015. It features an X-Y Midi Pad with a black framing and a black slide (which makes it the first M1D1 to feature a black instead of a white slide) which doesn't emit any light.

Touring

The guitar first appeared at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge gig. From 2015 to 2019, and 2023 onwards, the guitar was used almost exclusively for Supermassive Black Hole. During 2022, in addition to the former song, the guitar was also used for various other songs that required standard tuning (and sometimes the use of the Kaoss pad). This guitar was only used in Europe until it was used during the Abu Dhabi and Riyad shows in december 2024.

Background

This guitar is very similar to the #1 and was delivered together with four other new Manson guitars in October 2015.

The differences between the #1 and the #2 are silver instead of blackened custom knobs, white instead of a black Midi pad, a Fernandes Sustainer instead of a Sustainiac, and normal tuners instead of custom ones.

Touring

It was first seen at the Paris La Cigale (By Request) gig in 2018 and later at the Royal Albert Hall and a few other gigs until Hollywood Palladium in 2019. The guitar saw no use during the Simulation Theory World Tour but was used again in May 2022 for New Born.
