First show after a 2 week hiatus and first festival performance in 2016. The show wasn't part of The Drones World Tour 2015/16 but was sandwiched between the tour dates, similar to the Corona Capital Festival gig in 2015.
Information
This show did not include any LED screens or lighting trusses behind the band as opposed to their usual festival performances during the Drones era, and featured very little lighting (likely due to logistics). This was also one of their shortest sets of the tour and likely one of their earliest gigs, if not the earliest gig, starting at 1PM local time.
The Show
Map of the Problematique and Sunburn were on the setlist but were not played, the former being dropped due to technical difficulties. The Handler was also notably absent from the setlist, marking the first time it had skipped a setlist since September 2015. Agitated, which wasn't on the setlist, was played however, making this the first performance of it since September 16th, 2015.
JFK was played before Uprising for the first time since the Drones Festival Tour in 2015, and Uprising was played with Matt on guitar for the full song for the first time since November 2015.
This was the last time Matt used the Manson Copper Bomber 2.0, as well as the last time Morgan's light station was present.
Speech
(Incomplete)
Before Munich Jam | Howard | "How's it going out there Ischgl? Thanks for having us here in this amazing location today! This is by far one of the greatest locations we've ever played so it's pretty awesome." |
