First show of 2018 after the release of Thought Contagion.
Information
Announced on February 15, 2018
Muse's second by request gig after the 2017 Shepherd's Bush one.
The show was streamed live on the band’s social channels (Facebook, Twitter/Periscope and YouTube) and included real time fan voting for 3 songs in the setlist. Ticket holders were able to choose their Top 5 tracks and all votes submitted were collated and used to curate the set on the night.
Tickets were available on 17 February. In an effort to combat touts there was a two ticket limit. In addition, names were printed on all tickets & you had to show valid government ID to enter the venue. Name changes on tickets were prohibited.
You can watch the whole show here or watch the individual clips by seeing the setlist below.
The official gallery from the gig can be seen on muse.mu.
Concert information
- Thought Contagion made its live debut.
- Eternally Missed was played for the first since 2002. Matt commented that he was very surprised that the song made it to the top 10.
- Agitated and Yes Please weren't on the setlist but were played. There was also a misunderstanding during Agitated as Dom started to play the outro of the song after the first chorus, while Matt and Chris were playing the song entirely. At the end, the song was played in its entirety.
- Yes Please was the abbreviated version - the first verse and chorus were played only.
- Muscle Museum, Showbiz, Fury and Eternally Missed were all played half a step down.
- First performance of Helsinki Jam and Space Dementia (with the guitar outro) since 2011.
- This is the first time since 2013 that Knights of Cydonia wasn't played in a non-promotional gig.
- If Agitated and Yes Please are not counted as songs but as outros, and if the voting category name is considered, then this has been first time since 2007 that Stockholm Syndrome has closed the set.
- As indicated on the setlist, Matt played guitar during the whole of Uprising for the first time since the Top of the Mountain gig in April 2016. This is a unique occurrence as since November 2015 Matt has only played guitar from the bridge onwards at the vast majority of gigs, leaving the guitar parts before then to touring member Morgan Nicholls.
- Last performances of Eternally Missed, Citizen Erased, Space Dementia, Fury, Muscle Museum, Helsinki Jam and the full version of New Born to date.

Voting
Just like with the previous By Request gig, the ticket holders were able to vote for their songs on SetTheSet, albeit the amount of songs available compared to last time was notably smaller. On the gig date, Muse ask fans on Facebook three questions about which song could they play:
- Which Japanese bonus track should Muse play next? "Fury" or "Futurism" - Fury won
- Which prog song should Muse play next? "Butterflies & Hurricanes" or "Citizen Erased" - Citizen Erased won
- How should Muse end the set? "Knights of Cydonia" or "Stockholm Syndrome" - Stockholm Syndrome won
