Me

A little about me; My name's David. I'm 18, live in Perth, West Australia. I play the piano and a little guitar. Occasionally, I pretend I can sing.

Me + Music

Some of my favourite bands include Muse, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Karnivool, Rage Against the Machine, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Cream, Tool, Foo Fighters, Crowded House, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eskimo Joe, Delphic, Depeche Mode, Them Crooked Vultures, etc.

I'm also something of a classical music boffin, favourite composers include Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Handel, Chopin and various others. I'm not too much a fan of most works by Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, though.

Me + Muse

I was first introduced to Muse in 2004ish when a friend showed me this "band I've just discovered" in the form of the Bliss music video. At first glance I thought the idea of some guy with ridiculously red hair and an insanely polished falsetto jumping through the middle of a planet to be ludicrous, after a bit more time of delving into more of their music I've been a steadfast fan ever since.

My favourite Muse album is Absolution and my favourite song changes frequently.
