Hmm shouldn't we just do all this via css? All we need to do is class things up and style them in css so it's easy to change the style through that, i think inline styling is a bit ineffective now so yeah :)
- Yeah true, not sure how you want to do that and what colour schemes and things. I just changed it for now because the Discoboxes are currently unreadable Niall 13:38, 13 July 2009 (BST)
- Good old class name on all the boxes and then hack on the css, you any good with css? On another note, the alternating class thing seems to be b0rked :(
- haha yeah i noticed that. i would help fix things but i cant edit the css :P --Wilfio 13:57, 13 July 2009 (BST)
- Right now i'm having trouble sorting out all the madness that is getting these js files to all work with the latest version of mediawiki, damn me for upgrading! I want them alternating rows back, won't get much updates tonight i must say, will be out shooting gigs and whatnot... damn my toolbar disappeared! no idea how many curly things i need --14:03, 13 July 2009 (BST)crazybobbles
- If you use firefox the FireBug addon might be useful for sorting out these sorts of situations. btw I didn't like the new layout at first but it has grown on me a lot already :) --Wilfio 14:05, 13 July 2009 (BST)
- It kinda grew on me when i was developing it haha, my main issue is still wiki in black is a bit risque, but there was this funny moment before deciding this where Stu showed me the 24 wiki and it kinda worked so i thought i'd give it a shot. Plus it's now goff friendly! --crazybobbles 14:59, 13 July 2009 (BST)
- I would help too but I'm a bit of a beginner with css, wouldn't trust myself to get it right! Niall 14:08, 13 July 2009 (BST)
- Hehe no worries, it's just a case of defining the class and then using selectors to find the specific bits of the page, will do it when i have time :) --crazybobbles 14:59, 13 July 2009 (BST) (oooh the toolbar works, but the new fancy stuff isn't... rats)
