Plague Vendor
Plague Vendor is an Los Angeles based post-punk band formed in 2009 by singer Brandon Blaine, guitarist Jay Rogers, bassist Michael Perez and drummer Luke Perine. The band are described as having energetic songs that mix post-punk, punk and hardcore. Sound-wise, they're known for having the sound of classic punk rock albums of the 60s and 70s.
After signing with a punk label called Epitaph records in 2014, they released their debut LP called Free to Eat.
In early 2016, the band released their second LP, Bloodsweat, produced by Stuart Sikes (known for working with Modest Mouse).
In 2018, they started working on the third LP called By Night, which was released in 2019. The album was recorded at EastWest Studios and produced by St. Vincent/Chelsea Wolfe producer John Congleton.
Plague Vendor supported Muse during the Psycho US Tour at the 2015 Mayan Theatre gig in Los Angeles.
