Monumental!

After having sweated, cried, jumped (tripped what!) at the MCM Café on November 10th, I went to the Elysée Montmartre on January 11th. BUT WHO WILL STOP THEM?
No one I hope, at least not as long as they do such amazing shows on stage. It was even better than all the other gigs, a true thing I swear! They attack the crowd with 2/3 new extraordinary compositions, including the first during which Matt sings in a megaphone (yeah, as in the demonstrations!). Then the classics of the album but still still enjoyable ... and of course some b-sides (Recess...) and some unpublished songs. A performance of Unintended on acoustic guitar to make us cry, a Muscle Museum more than ever pissed off, an indescribable Uno...
In short, true and good MUSE. "This is our last song, thank you." Then they went away. Oh no already! And here we start screaming SHOWBIZ! SHOWBIZ! and another! ANOTHER! normal to do. Here they come back with their towels soaked in sweat, and Matt with a beautiful crazy hairstyle. And then a new song without words with an unstoppable riff, then another title and finally Showbiz!!!!
In an impressive and moving silence Matt begins to sing, then it's the explosion, the pure riff and the perfect symbiosis of the three members, the "agitated" receptivity of the audience, the final extraterrestrial vocalizations, or inhuman if you prefer, then a surprising end: an improvised delirium rather metal in any case very rock. "Thank you" and Matt breaks himself leaving his guitar plugged in (imagine the feedback), and Dom and Chris continue to play, or rather pound and hammer their instruments. Then Chris swings his bass against Dom's drums, which continues to play, imperturbable. Finally he throws his drumsticks in the audience and even... a cymbal! A small wave of the hand and they are all gone. We would be well left for the whole night! We'll never tire of it...
PS: The first part was ensured by LTNO, a French band on the border of a techno indie hardcore Marilyn Manson, or something like that, an atmosphere of asylum! I did not like them...

Here it is.
PS: I love Matthew's cup that falls at the end of the first song, it sums up the energy they put into their live show.
PS2: Finally a live Showbiz version that succeeded
PS3: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah again, I have aches
