Nina Simone (*21st february 1933; † 21st april 2003) was a classic jazz and blues singer, similar to Ella Fitzgerald. Simone's cover of Feeling Good was reinterpreted by Muse on Origin of Symmetry. Matthew Bellamy's mother really likes (actually loves) this song, so it was a big influence in his life.
