Mirek Stiles
Mirek Stiles is the Head of Audio Products at Abbey Road Studios in London. Stiles started working at Abbey Road as an engineer in 1998, and has, since then, worked on projects such as the soundtrack for The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, The Beatles Anthology, and Paul McCartney.
As head of Audio Products, he is responsible and leads development of both software and hardware releases, based on Abbey Road's historic and iconic gear, with known partners such as Chandler Limited, Waves Audio and Spitfire Audio. Stiles is also an advisor for Abbey Road's incubation programme, Abbey Road Red, which provides a good jumping board for music tech start-ups. Stiles is also experimenting with Spatial Audio production at Abbey Road, over headphones, spatial microphone arrays, ambisonics, and game engine workflow. Stiles also appeared and toured Abbey Road on several YouTube studio tours from Rick Beato and Spitfire Audio.
