Palacio de los Deportes (Palace of Sports in English) is a multi-purpose indoor arena, located in Mexico City, Mexico. The arena is part of the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City complex, in front of the Foro Sol, another sports and concerts venue. The arena opened in 1968, built for the basketball competition of the 1968 Olympic Games, designed by architects Félix Candela, Antonio Peyri and Enrique Castañeda Tamborel. It's overall capacity is approximately 26,000. The arena structure has three floors and houses facilities for athletes, judges, officials, organisers and services for the radio, television and press. The arena also includes a smaller pavillion for expositions and some concerts. The Palacio is also known for it's unique dome shape, made of aluminium, covered with waterproof copper-sheathed plywood.

As mentioned above, the arena hosted the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games and was used for the Olympic basketball competition. It is former home to Mexico City Aztecas of CBA and Mexico Toros of CISL. As such, the arena hosted several basketball and indoor soccer team during that time. In 1997, the arena hosted NBA's regular season game between Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks. The Palacio de los Deportes is also used for concerts with artists such as Bob Dylan, U2, The Who, Adele, My Chemical Romance, Gorillaz, Shawn Mendes, Rammstein, Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine and more.
