Klaxons rue Wembley Stadium blunder
Band want Muse to ask them to play again
Klaxons have said they want to play the new Wembley Stadium, despite turning the offer down when Muse asked them.
As previously reported, Muse are to play two dates at the new Wembley Stadium on June 16 and 17.
Jamie Reynolds from Klaxons told MTV they would "love to play" as a support band for the space-rockers.
However, Reynolds says the band may have missed their chance due to a misunderstanding.
He said: "It was the drummer who asked us. It was quite a drunken night down the pub and I just said, 'Nah', I don't know why, I didn't mean it!
"I have watched them from when they first started. I first saw them at Glastonbury and for them to say that is a massive compliment."
James Righton added: "(We) got the chance to open up Wembley Stadium. Officially the first ever gig at Wembley and Jamie turned it down!"
