Bear Hands
Bear Hands are an American post-punk and indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, consisting of Dylan Rau (vocals and guitar), Val Loper (bass), Ted Feldman (guitar) and TJ Orscher (drums). They formed in 2006 and released their first EP, called Gold which made them become a "New York buzz band" due to popular blog features.
Their first LP was released in 2010, after the band signed to Cantora Records called Burning Bush Supper Club. The album brought them several opening act slots for several bands such as Passion Pit, Gza, and We Were Promised Jetpacks.
In 2014, their second LP was released, called Distraction. The single for the song Giants off of this album became a top-ten hit on the Alternative Songs chart in mid-2014.
Two years later, in 2016, they released their third LP called You'll Pay for This and in 2019, their latest LP called Fake Tunes was released. In the same year, they supported Twenty One Pilots on the Bandito Tour.
Bear Hands supported Muse in 2015 during the Psycho US Tour at the Webster Hall gig in NYC.
