Centennial Olympic Park is a 22-acre public park, located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The park was built by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games in 1996, as part of the Summer Olympics. The park pays host to millions of visitors each year with a variety of events taking place in the park including music concerts and firework displays. The park is operated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority and is open daily between 7AM and 11PM local time. Main features of the park include the Fountain of Rings, an interactive fountain that features computer-controlled lights and jets of water synchronized with music played from speakers in light towers surrounding it. The fountain is surrounded by flags representing the host countries of each Summer Olympics since 1996. The park also features a small amphitheatre. In 2013, a transportable ferris wheel called SkyView Atlanta was installed across the street from the park.

The park sits between major Atlanta landmarks, including the Georgia World Congress Center, the State Farm Arena, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. During the Olympics celebration in 1996, the park suffered a domestic terrorist pipe bombing, killing two people and injuring 111. The park was closed for renovations after the Olympics ended and re-opened in 1998. In 2008, the park was struck by a tornado and sustained minor damage. It was the first tornado to hit downtown Atlanta since the record keeping began in the 1880s.

Events that take or took place in the park include the Shaky Music Fest, ONE MusicFest, Super Bowl Live events in 2019 and the 2013 NCAA Big Dance Concert, which also featured Muse as headliners.
