Part of The 2nd Law Tour
Information
Announced on June 7th 2012, Muse performed inside Antwerp's Sportpaleis in 2012 as part of The 2nd Law tour. Tickets went on general sale on June 14th at 10:00 local time.
To raise awareness for dementia and Alzheimer's disease, Flemish radio station Studio Brussel launched their annual Music For Life campaign. A choir called 'The Betties', made up from families of people with the afforementioned illness, along with the seniors themselves, was scheduled to perform on the stage before the support act. They performed a cover of the song Follow Me, supported by a piano and a cello trio. Matt and Dom personnaly announced them on the stage, both wearing the Music For Life badge on their shirts, showing their support for the campaign. The video of the cover song can be seen here.
A few days after the gig, Chris revealed their Song for Life to be "Lithium" by Nirvana. A song for life was a song you could request on the Studio Brussel radio broadcast, a song that reminded you of something in the past, that will always stick in your memory.
First gig of the tour that Muse didn't play Knights of Cydonia as a set closer or before an encore.
