Agent Fresco
Agent Fresco are an Icelandic alternative rock band from Reykjavík. The band consists of singer Arnór Dan Arnarson, drummer Hrafnkell Örn Guðjónsson, bassist Vignir Rafn Hilmarsson and guitarist/keyboardist Þórarinn Guðnason. They're known for blending alternative rock with pop, metal and math-rock.
The band were formed in 2008, just weeks prior to competing and winning at the local battle of the bands. Soon after, in the same year, they released their first EP called Lightbulb Universe. The EP brought them more recognition and brought them an Kraumur Award (Icelandic music award for best albums released in Iceland). In 2009, they were named as best new artist in 2009 by Icelandic Music Awards.
In 2010, they released their first album called A Long Time Listening and in 2015, they released their second album called Destrier.
The 2015 album brought them the Rock Album of the Year award, with Arnór Dan also winning Male Singer of the Year award at Icelandic Music Awards 2016, making them join the list of many established Icelandic artists, who also won an award that year, such as Björk, Of Monsters and Men and Kaleo.
The band supported Muse at the Reykjavik gig at Laugardalsholl in 2016.
