Second proper warm up gig in support of The 2nd Law

Information

Muse performed inside The Roundhouse on the 30th of September 2012, to promote the release of The 2nd Law.[1] This gig, which was the last gig of iTunes Festival under this name (the festival was later renamed to Apple Music Festival),[2] replaced an earlier gig, scheduled to take place at Battersea Power Station.

Tickets were available through three competitions, one which took place through iTunes, one at muse.mu[1], and another held on the Dutch radio, 3FM.[4].

Four times in the gig, Bellamy added words into the lyrics. Those four songs were "Time Is Running Out," "Knights of Cydonia," "New Born," and "Plug In Baby."

Survival was performed live in full for the first time.

Actor Tom Hiddleston and guitarist Jimmy Page were present at the gig.

Media

The performance was webcast on the event's website and the stream could be watched either live or, for a limited time, afterwards.[6] iTunes have relisted the concert to watch, but have omitted 4 songs in which Matt Bellamy swore.

Official photos from the gig have been uploaded on muse.mu and can be accessed here.

The full gig can be seen here.
