Part of the Will of the People Theatre Tour
Information
Announced on June 1st, 2022, as part of the autumn theatre tour, supporting the album Will of the People, this is the first show of the Will of the People era to take place in the United States.[8] Muse performed in the sold-out Wiltern Theatre for the first time in almost 20 years, after their shows on December 8th and December 9th, in 2004. Tickets came on-sale on June 24th, 2022 at 10AM, local time. Ticket pre-sale began on June 21st, accessed by signing in to the Members account for a unique code.
The support band, Taipei Houston, was announced few hours before the concert on Muse's Twitter[9].
The Show
We Are Fucking Fucked was played live for the first time. Minimum was played for the first time since 2002, and Space Dementia was also played for the first time in the USA since 2005. The show also marked the live debut of the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor intro, which is played by Matt on piano as an intro to You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween.
This was the first non-promotional gig at which Pressure wasn't played and the second at which Psycho wasn't played. Uprising was also notably missing from the setlist, while Madness was absent again after the London Apollo charity gigs in May of 2022.
