De Staat is an alternative rock band from Nijmengen, Netherlands. Formed in 2006, the band started out as a one-man-band project by the lead singer Torre Florim who also got the band together. Their line-up consists of Torre Florim, Vedran Mircetic, Jop van Summeren, Roco Bell and Tim van Delft.
De Staat will be supporting Muse during the European leg of the Drones World Tour at a gig in Olympiahalle on March 31st.
