MuseWiki, wiki for the band Muse

On the first of February a mystery man opened a muselive account under the name "Truth Be Heard" He uploaded two zip files under the topic title "Helios" and made the shoutbox comment "Primer at Musewiki". The Helios thread got little notice, most people just assuming it was a hoax - something reinforced by the fact that the files didn't get validated because muselive moderators couldn't get into them. What they did ascertain though was that the two "Helios.zip" containing "Corona.wma" and "Late.zip" which contained "War Is.wma"

On February 4th 2007 clues were added to the Helios topic which consisted of two groups of catlague codes linked with a track number and another number. Basically users had to find which release the catologue number related to, look up the track number and then follow along to the dictated letter. Two users worked on the code breaking, one who proposed the method and found the release for each catalogue number and another who worked through and fine tuned the method. Admin were trying to break into the file but found that it was apparently corrupt. When the passwords were found (Sunburn and Overdue) one of the users postulated that the second file was Overdue (due to one of the password clues) but had no idea how special it was...

So, zips finally open and muselivers were treated to Sunburn and Overdue from the Acetate Demo.

Truth Be Heard made one last comment on the news thread of the mystery saying that the clues had been on musewiki all along. Following this hint and looking at edits reveals that someone had indeed edited the Overdue and Sunburn entries to include additional info on the songs (probably relating to the demo) - and RO! was that user.

Truth Be Heard also said that a few people know him and that clues about him are scattered across the internet, could it be another Qua quest, with an email address to the end? For now, who knows?
