Cosmo Jarvis
Harrison Cosmo Krikoryan Jarvis, known simply as Cosmo Jarvis, is an English musician, actor and filmmaker. Born in Ridgewood in New Jersey, U.S. to an Armenian-American mother and English father, he moved to Totnes, Devon, as a baby.
Jarvis released five studio albums, 19 Songs By Cosmo Jarvis (2006), Humasyouhitch/Sonofabitch (2009), Is the World Strange or Am I Strange? (2011) and Think Bigger (2012), aswell as one EP, They Don't Build Hearts Like They Used To (2013). The 2011 single, Gay Pirates, was featured as the Record of the Day and AOL's Spinner video of the day, and was voted number 85 on the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2011. Several of his songs have been featured on the 2013 comedy film called Hawk(e): The Movie.
In 2012, Jarvis announced he began work on his first feature film called The Naughty Room. The film premiered on BBC Four in the same year. As an actor, he starred in TV series such as Peaky Blinders. Humans and Raised by Wolves and movies such as Spooks: The Greater Good, Lady Macbeth (for which he recieved a nomination for the Most Promising Newcomer award at the British Independent Film Awards in 2017), Annihilation and Farming, amongst others.
Cosmo Jarvis supported Muse on September 4th, 2009, during the first night of the two Seaside Rendezvous gigs.
