"Bliss" was the third single from Origin of Symmetry and the first released after the album. "Bliss" was released on 20^th August 2001 but had been designated as the third single from the album in April 2001.^[1] "Bliss" was the first Muse single to be released on DVD. The DVD features the audio and making of the video, and includes a photo gallery, lyrics and a discography.

The version of "Bliss" found on the single is longer than that found on Origin of Symmetry. Its duration is 4:36 with extended synth arpeggios.
