In the afternoon at around 4pm, Tom Kirk began filming the queue outside the front of the arena, and seconds later Muse and their security rode past the line. It is speculated that this footage will appear on the band's next tour documentary.
At the start when the curtains fell to reveal the towers, Dom's curtain didn't fall until a little into the song. Before House of the Rising Sun, Dom attempted to introduce it by name, but only got as far as "This next..", as he was cut off by Matt who started playing the riff. Dom stared at him humorously. At the end Dom threw his drumsticks into the crowd. Starlight was dedicated to a couple of signs either side of the stage, reading "moshing and crowd surfing is not permitted". Dom got in trouble for encouraging moshing and Chris got in trouble for smoking on stage. It is rumoured that Muse are banded from Rod Laver Arena for 5 years because if this.
