Description

Played a lot in 1999 and early 2000 before they started playing newer songs. Very creepy, with an emphasis on eerily simple piano and percussion at the beginning, which then morphs into the usual epic rock number, with a simple 3 chord power riff.

Additional information

It appears to be about perfectionism and the whole "Showbiz" theme: putting on a persona that doesn't reflect the persons true inner self.

Thomas Kirk played some percussion.

Music trivia

At 2:23, 2:31, 2:35, 2:38 and 2:43, there is a scratching sound, like a zip.

Lyrics

Too many young and too many old

Too many people left you in the cold You want everything to change Cause you are afraid of losing

She only exists when shes on a screen He's only alive inside a machine We want everything to change Because we are afraid of losing

Tell me do you really need this Tell me do you really care Tell me do you really need this Tell me do you really care

Because I don't think you really need this I don't think you really care I don't think you really need this I don't think you really care

Too many young and too many old Too many people left you in the cold We want everything to change Now I'm so afraid of losing Yeah yeah yeah

Random 1-8

Too many people trapped in your mould

Is sung instead of the second line of the chorus.
