Highlight of the Wight ... Muse

Isle Of Wight 2007 review

By SIMON ROTHSTEIN and PETE SAMSON
June 11, 2007

BIZARRE were down at the Isle Of Wight in force - watching all the bands in case you didn't get the chance to.

Below are our Top 10 acts of the weekend and you can post your own reviews in the MySun section at the foot of this page.

MUSE - There are very few bands in the world who can beat The Rolling Stones at their own game, but at the Isle Of Wight Muse were one of them.

They had the lights, the smoke, the cool graphics on the big screen and, most importantly of all, amazing songs played with pure passion and conviction.

This wasn't just a show, this was throwing down the gauntlet for every band set to headline a festival this summer.

If you've got tickets to see Matt Bellamy and the boys at Wembley this week, you're very lucky indeed.

Killer tune: Knights Of Cydonia
Bizarre rating: 9.5/10
