A promo TV show, in support of The Resistance
Information
Muse performed at BBC Television Centre, filming for both Top of the Pops Christmas Day Special and Top of the Pops New Year Special in 2009. For the Christmas show, they were joined on stage by female dancers dressed as Mrs. Santa, while Dom was dressed as Santa himself, Chris wore a Santa hat, Matt wore his blue light-up glasses and a Christmas scarf, and Morgan wore snowman's top hat (see photo). The band performed uprising for both airings.
The press release said: "Top Of The Pops Christmas Day Special (25 December 2009, 2.00-3.00PM) offers up an hour of stellar performances from some of the year's biggest stars including Dizzee Rascal; Kasabian; Lily Allen; JLS; Alexandra Burke; La Roux; Sugababes; Florence and the Machine; Diversity; and Muse. The hour of top music and festive fun culminates in a glistening performance from this year's Christmas number 1!".
