Description
According to Matt, in this track along with Defector, the protagonist of the story takes again control of his life and fights against the dark forces who are trying to control him.[1]
Matt said that Revolt its about: "Inspire and encourage people to believe in themselves".[2]
In a french review, Revolt it's a "pop" song that sounds like U2's "With or Without You"; the song has the most "catchy" chorus in the album.[3] According to NME, Revolt is one of their most creative songs; "A two-speed storm built on monumental riffs"[4]
Lyrics
Incomplete
How did we get in so much trouble?
Getting out just seems impossible ..... Our freedom it's not A loan for usurious rates Controlled by madmen and drones
