Radiohead are an Alternative Rock/Electronic band headed by Thom Yorke that was primarily popular in the 90s with The Bends and OK Computer, and with songs such as Creep (Pablo Honey), Just (The Bends), Fake Plastic Trees (The Bends), My Iron Lung (The Bends), Paranoid Android (OK Computer), Karma Police (OK Computer) and No Surprises (OK Computer). In the 00s Kid A and Amnesiac marked an evolution in Radiohead's musical style, as the group incorporated experimental electronic music, Krautrock, post-punk and jazz influences

- Some critics often cite Muse as Radiohead's sound-alikes, althought fans generally consider all similarities to be vague if not irritating, and that they were dissolved with the release of Origin of Symmetry. Some similarities may include the similar singing style and vocal range of Matt Bellamy and Thom Yorke, and the progressive rock influences in both bands' music.

In 1999 Dominic Howard mentioned Radiohead as one of his favorite bands:

In the February 22 1999 issue of NME Matt Bellamy talks about Radiohead's influence on the band with The Bends:

"we take our influences from a lot of American bands, like Nirvana, Matthew asserts. And, yeah Radiohead at the time of 'The Bends' were doing new things with guitar music that it's hard not to be influenced by"

Matt Bellamy is bored of always being compared to Radiohead, especially since he doesn't consider that Muse and Radiohead play the same kind of music. But he takes it as a compliment. http://www.microcuts.net/uk/news/archives/11052001-microcuts_team_meet_matthew_bellamy.php

Matt Bellamy says he's ever met Radiohead, except Colin, the bass player who's very cool. http://www.microcuts.net/uk/news/archives/11052001-microcuts_team_meet_matthew_bellamy.php

Matt Bellamy likes Radiohead's Amnesiac, but he doesn't like Kid A. http://www.microcuts.net/uk/news/archives/11052001-microcuts_team_meet_matthew_bellamy.php

In 2003 Matt Bellamy changed his opinion on Kid A and seemed to talk favorably about it. "There are two ways of making new music : You can do something totally new and refreshing or you can work on already existing concepts, adding things to it. The first thing is difficult to do, actually that's only possible with making new sounds with computers. The second way is just correcting things. Actually there's also a third option which is doing a little of both, Radiohead's Kid A is a good example of that. That's what we are doing, looking at the past and trying to make progress. http://www.microcuts.net/uk/news/archives/05042003-interview.php
