Background

The latest Manson made its debut two months after the demise of the M1D1 Manson, and is presumably its replacement (as both have Bare Knuckle Nailbomb Humbuckers at the bridge and Fernandes Sustainers at the neck). It is the first of Matt's Mansons to be fitted with a Tronical PowerTune Automatic Guitar Tuning System.

Additional Information

It is possible that the settings on the tuning system are limited to DADGBE, CADGBE and EbAbDbGbBbEb, as Fury and Starlight are played in Eb live, New Born, Stockholm Syndrome and Dead Star are played in Drop D, and Map of the Problematique is played in standard-C.

Official replicas of the Seattle Manson and Glitterati Manson can be bought from the Manson online store. The MB-1 range (Matt Bellamy series 1) has a starting price of £2999 for a Black basic version with no midi screen or Manson hardware.

Touring

The Seattle Manson is so named because it was first played at the Seattle gig on 9th September 2007, the first night of the final US leg of the Black Holes and Revelations tour.
