Information

Muse's first appearance at Glastonbury Festival and their biggest show (at the time). Muse were awarded a gold disc after the show for 100,000 UK sales of Showbiz.

The Show

At the end of the gig Matt jumped onto Chris' shoulders and Chris proceeded to run around the stage with Matt clinging onto him, before both crashing into Dom and destroying the drum kit.

Speech

Before Pre-Sunburn riff Bellamy "Check out this riff."
After Sunburn "Thank you Glastonbury people."
After Fillip "Thank you."

Media

Part of the performance was broadcast via BBC Choice. A 41-minute video of all the songs that were broadcast on TV can be watched on Youtube here. Darkshines was performed instead of Uno; it's the only song not to exist in audio/video form, possibly due to the band being self-conscious about a new song. Although, New Born & Feeling Good were broadcast, which were both new at the time too.

Audio of the gig minus Yes Please & Darkshines was also broadcast via FM radio. A recording of this audio can be found online and is available to download on MuseBootlegs.
