Announced on May 26th, 2022, Muse headlined the 2022 Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals together with Volbeat and Green Day. This gig took place on June 4th, 2022 and was the seventh time that Muse appeared on Rock am Ring festival, and third headlining it (last was in 2018).

Will of the People got its live debut on this gig. Nishe was played again after 11 years. Muse also played, for the first time, Slipknot's Duality riff after Map of the Problematique.
