First arena show of The 2nd Law Tour
Information
Announced on the 7th of June, Muse opened the European leg of The 2nd Law tour with a performance inside Park&Suites Arena on the 16th of October.[1] Members of the Muse website could enter a draw from the announcement until the 10th of June to gain the opportunity to buy tickets before general sale,[1] which started on the 14th of June at 10:00.[3]
Unsustainable, Explorers, Liquid State and Isolated System were played for the first time. A new jam was performed, Montpellier Jam(or short, Monty Jam). Falling Down was also played for the first time in nearly 12 years. The intro of Host was played for the first time in about 14 years. Undisclosed Desires returned after more than one year.
This is the first gig Matt sung a song without playing an instrument since Radio 1 Big Sunday 2000. He did this for Follow Me and Undisclosed Desires, getting off the stage and walking up and down the barrier during the second half of the latter.
This gig marked the debut of the Status Chris Wolstenholme Signature Bass 5-string and the white-LED and red-LED Status Chris Wolstenholme Signature Bass.
