Background
This guitar is one of 12 new Manson Guitars built for Matt Bellamy from 2015. It is similar to some guitars produced by Manson Works series, it that it features the unique 'Holey' finish. Like all new Manson guitars from 2015 it features a truss rod adjuster at the end of the neck. Built by Hugh, the guitar's design and finish was inspired Hugh's trip to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, Spain in 2014. "The detail and the use of colours in the interior was phenomenal". Manson Silver Glitter Holes is almost identical to Matthew's backup Silver Holes 2.0, that will be introduced live in May 2015 for tours in the Americas and also features custom aluminium hardware. The latter features holes which come in from different directions, rather than vertically. It is a live duplicate for either 'Rig A' or 'Rig B'. The idea is that Matt can have a set of guitars for use in the Americas (Rig A), and another rig for use in other regions of the world (Rig B).
Touring
This guitar first appeared at the Belfast Ulster Hall on the opening night of the 2015 Psycho Tour.
